A Dreamy Rehearsal Dinner at The Wishmaker House | Custom Wedding Florals by Loudonville Flowers

Some events leave a lasting impression long after the last candle has burned out, and this beautiful rehearsal dinner at The Wishmaker House in Bellville, Ohio was certainly one of them.

We were honored to design the custom florals for this intimate celebration, creating a romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the historic charm of the venue. Every floral element was thoughtfully designed to tell a cohesive story, welcoming guests into an evening filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The color palette was soft, timeless, and effortlessly romantic. Delicate shades of blush pink, lilac purple, and creamy white blended together to create an elegant garden-inspired aesthetic. To bring that vision to life, we incorporated lush hydrangeas, elegant roses, whimsical ranunculus, fragrant stock, soft alstroemeria, carnations, and cheerful daisy pompons. Each bloom added its own texture and personality, resulting in arrangements that felt both refined and naturally abundant.

Guests were greeted by a beautifully adorned welcome sign accented with fresh florals, offering the perfect first impression as they arrived. Inside, custom centerpieces filled each table with soft color and movement, creating an inviting space for family and friends to gather before the wedding day.

One of our favorite features of the evening was the sweetheart table. Designed as the focal point of the room, it showcased a lush, romantic floral arrangement paired with a stunning ground installation that flowed gracefully around the table. The layered textures and soft colors created a dreamy backdrop worthy of such a special celebration.

To complete the design, we created several additional floral accents throughout the venue, tying every space together with thoughtful details that elevated the entire event. It's often these finishing touches that transform a beautiful venue into an unforgettable experience.

California Dreaming…

Some weddings feel like a destination—not just in location, but in energy, beauty, and experience. Designing the florals for Haleigh & Jack’s wedding in Angels Camp was exactly that kind of unforgettable moment.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Hatcher Winery, their wedding felt effortlessly romantic with a touch of California charm woven into every detail. The landscape itself played such a huge role in inspiring the designs—soft, natural, and sun-kissed, with a relaxed elegance that carried throughout the day.

Felicia and I were truly honored to bring their floral vision to life. Together, we designed everything from the ceremony aisle florals to the centerpieces, creating a cohesive look that felt both elevated and organic. It’s always special collaborating with another talented designer, and this wedding was no exception, everything came together so seamlessly.

The floral palette was light, airy, and romantic. We worked with Playa Blanca roses for their timeless beauty, paired with soft peach gerbera daisies for a gentle pop of warmth. White ranunculus added that delicate, layered texture, while baby’s breath created a dreamy softness throughout the arrangements. One of the most unique elements was the greenery, beautiful selections harvested right from the California countryside, adding a sense of place and grounding the entire design in its surroundings.

The ceremony aisle was designed to feel like a natural extension of the landscape, guiding guests into the moment with soft florals that felt almost as if they had grown there. And the centerpieces carried that same feeling to the reception, elegant, inviting, and full of life without feeling overdone.

It was truly a spectacular event, and being trusted with such an important part of Haleigh & Jack’s day meant so much to both of us. Weddings like this are a reminder of how powerful flowers can be—not just as decor, but as an experience, a feeling, and a memory that lingers long after the day is over.

Early Fall Bridal Bouquet

There’s something especially meaningful about the quiet, in-between moments of a wedding day and designing a bouquet that becomes part of that moment is something I never take lightly.

I was truly honored to create a one-of-a-kind bridal bouquet for the wedding of Jed and Molly, who were married on a beautiful fall afternoon in mid-September at The Wellspring. Their day was filled with warmth, intention, and those little details that make a wedding feel deeply personal.

This bouquet held even more significance, it was a gift from Jed to Molly for their first look. That alone made the design feel incredibly special. Knowing it would be the first thing she held as they saw each other on their wedding day added a layer of emotion that guided every stem I chose.

The palette was rich and full of fall’s signature depth, golden tones, deep maroons, moody purples, and soft pops of white woven throughout. Every bloom was grown right here at Muddy Meadows Flower Farm, which made it even more meaningful to bring that “field to bouquet” story into their day.

The bouquet featured a seasonal mix of cosmos, dahlias, goldenrod, zinnias, salvia, and celosia—each adding its own texture and personality. The final touch was something I absolutely loved: a corn husk wrap, tying everything together with an extra layer of autumn warmth and a nod to the harvest season.

Designing for Jed and Molly was a reminder of why I love what I do. It’s not just about flowers, it’s about creating something that becomes part of a memory, something that’s held, felt, and remembered long after the day is over.

Bright Pops of Color for a spring wedding!

There are some weddings that feel special and then there are the ones that truly mean something deeper. Designing the florals for Ron & Crystal’s wedding at Down Memory Lane Cabin and Event Center was one of those moments for me.

As the owners of this beautiful, brand-new venue, Ron and Crystal poured their hearts into creating a space where love stories can unfold. So when they trusted me to bring their own wedding vision to life through florals, I was genuinely honored. It felt like being part of the foundation of something meaningful, not just a wedding, but the beginning of a legacy for their venue.

Their April wedding was everything spring should be: vibrant, joyful, and full of life. We leaned into bold, happy color, designing with bright pops that felt fresh and celebratory without losing elegance. The palette included neon pink gerbera daisies, soft and romantic pink roses, striking blue delphinium, delicate purple wax flower, and layers of lush greenery like fern and springerii. We balanced it all with green mums and touches of white statice, creating arrangements that felt both playful and grounded in natural beauty.

Every piece was designed to reflect their energy and their story. The bridal bouquet was full of movement and color, eye-catching, but still romantic. The ceremony arches were a true focal point, framing their vows with intentional, garden-inspired design. And the centerpieces tied everything together, bringing that same vibrant, spring-forward feel to each table.

I was also incredibly lucky to have the help of fellow floral designer Felicia Stimmell, whose talent and support helped bring everything together seamlessly. There’s something really special about collaborating with other creatives who just get it, and this day wouldn’t have been the same without her.

This wedding also marks something exciting for the future. I’m so happy to officially share that I will be working exclusively with Down Memory Lane Cabin and Event Center as their preferred florist. This partnership feels like such a natural fit, and I’m beyond excited to continue creating intentional, story-driven florals for couples in this space.

Ron & Crystal’s wedding was more than just a beautiful day—it was the start of something new, for them and for this venue. And I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it.
