A Wildflower Dream in Jewel Tones: A Farm-Grown Wedding at Ugly Bunny Winery

We were so proud to be a part of this beautiful July wedding at Ugly Bunny Winery—and especially proud of what made the flowers so meaningful. Every floral used throughout the wedding day was grown right here on our farm. No imported flowers. No flowers shipped from across the country. Just flowers we planted, nurtured, harvested, and designed ourselves.

The bride chose a gorgeous palette of rich jewel tones for her bridal bouquet, creating a romantic and colorful arrangement that felt both elegant and completely natural. Her bouquet brought together layers of texture, movement, and color for a look that felt lush without being overly formal.

For the reception, she leaned into a more whimsical, wildflower inspired style. The centerpieces had an effortless, garden gathered feeling, while still incorporating plenty of romantic blooms and beautiful color. It was the perfect balance of wild and refined and such a fun reflection of the couple’s style.

Throughout the wedding day, we worked with an incredible collection of flowers grown here at Muddy Meadows, including dahlias, zinnias, amaranth, cosmos, snapdragons, celosia, scabiosa, strawflower, gomphrena, and eucalyptus.

There is something incredibly special about creating wedding flowers from blooms that were grown just a few steps from our design studio. We get to watch them grow from tiny seeds into the flowers that eventually become part of one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life.

This wedding was a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do. We aren’t simply arranging flowers, we’re growing them, designing with them, and creating something completely personal for each couple.

And when those flowers come from our own fields, it makes the finished design feel that much more special.
